Free 1 hour introductory webinar for Bridges Out of Poverty
Do you have clients who get arrested because they lose their cool with law enforcement? Or individuals who cannot negotiate with school administrators or supervisors at work? Do you have clients who go from agency to agency to get their basic needs met?
This workshop will introduce the core strategies and constructs behind Bridges Out of Poverty. Bridges uses the lens of economic class and provides concrete tools and strategies for a community to alleviate poverty. Participants will review poverty research, examine a theory of change, and analyze poverty through the prism of the hidden rules of class, resources, and language. Join presenter Chuck Holt to better understand how the environment of poverty creates barriers for your clients and how your organization can work shoulder to shoulder with those living in daily instability to provide different solutions to create more stability for your clients, organizations, and communities.
Breakfast goodies will be provided and attendees will be invited to stay afterwards for a brief conversation. Please email bbrado@interioraids.org if you'd like to attend.
