IAA's mission is to improve the quality of life for people living with, affected by or at risk for HIV/AIDS or other stigmatized conditions - often related to sex or drug use - through harm reduction, resource development and advocacy as best suits the people who need help.

Riley Creek Mercantile in Denali National Park

Interior AIDS Association is teaming up with Aramark to host the Annual Moose Scat Scoot Half Marathon, 5K, and Fun Run on Saturday, July 27th. Registration will be held at the Riley Creek Mercantile from 1 pm – 3:00 pm the day of the race or you can register on this page.

Half Marathon
Buses will load at 3 pm to take racers to the starting line. The race begins at 3:30 pm and will finish back at the Riley Creek Mercantile with prizes for the top male and female finishers in each race. Four hours are allotted for this race.

1.5 mile Fun Run/Walk
Buses will load at 4 pm to take participants to the starting line. The event begins at 4:30 pm and will finish back at the Riley Creek Mercantile. One hour is allotted for this event.

5K
Buses will load at 5 pm to take participants to the starting line. The event begins at 5:30 pm and will finish back at the Riley Creek Mercantile. One hour is allotted for this event.

Registration is $25 for adults and $10 for kids 12 and under. Not interested in racing, but still want to donate? No problem, donations will be accepted on our website or on the day of the race.

Come walk, bike, run, or scoot on the Park Road to help support the Interior AIDS Association! All funds raised will help reduce the spread of HIV by providing meaningful and effective education and prevention services to individuals and groups who may be at increased risk.
