First Steps
Please call us at 907-328-4002 to set up an intake appointment.
Before IAA can offer any services, a case manager will need to verify your eligibility and you'll need to complete intake paperwork. Eligibility is easily determined by income and a positive HIV verification. The entire intake process takes about 45 minutes, but can take longer if needed.
-
Household income (three most current pay stubs, prior year tax return if income hasn’t changed.)
-
ID or driver's license
-
Current health insurance
As part of the intake process, a case manager will establish current needs and risks, and help create a Care Plan unique to you. We offer case management to help you identify local resources and financial assistance, as needed, for the following:
- Medical Care
- Medication
- Nutrition
- Transportation Services
- Rental Assistance
- Utility and Mortgage Payment Assistance
- Eye and Dental care
Moving to Alaska?
If you are considering moving to, or are already living in Alaska’s Interior, Fairbanks may be the closest point of care. (The Interior is the geographic area bounded by the Alaska Range on the south, the Brooks Range on the north, the Canadian-US border on the east and the village of McGrath on the west.) A case manager will be happy to help make your transition as smooth as possible.
